This post is for my colleague Theadora Brack @People, Places and Bling! It is something I promised to do for her as I was commenting on her post recently when something similar happened. Perhaps you would all like to see!
This series of pictures reminds me of my work with brain-injured people. A particular test required people to arrange images in order to make a coherent story. There is very little apparent order here, but when these creatures make an appearance people on kayaks or boards try to close in. A fair bit of quiet circling goes on. So you can make up your own story. There are people on the beach just visible over the sand dune, but they are oblivious of the quiet interplay just off-shore.
This is maximum zoom on my little p&s camera, but gives you the idea I hope. Not enough time to get out of my pj’s. It was 8.15am daylight saving time.
I think it would be fair to say that this kayaker had a really good start to the day.
What do you think?
